This general purpose cable works for serial (RS232) and some short distance parallel signals.
This wire has a Plenum jacket, see CAB006 for a PVC equivalent, or CAB006-LC for a Low Capacitance equivalent (for longer distance runs).

Please Note:This wire doesn't work with our RJ11 modular connectors since the conductor insulation is too thick.
